Kindred Worlds:The Collection of Priscila and Alvin Hudgins

Hudson Art Museum - November 2023

Kindred Worlds, a selection of works from the collection of Priscila and Alvin Hudgins, focuses on world-making as praxis. Whether through monumental formats or intricate compositions, the  works on view are grounded in representations of reality, the otherworldly, or the spaces in between. With careful consideration paid to leisure and care, myth making and memory, no one work is defined within these frameworks. Rather, each piece serves as a prompt to consider how and where they overlap.
